About us
Vision Spring Initiatives (VSI) is a duly registered (RC 908183) non-governmental, not-for-profit, national human rights organization partnering with strategic stakeholders to achieve the developmental rights of children, young people, marginalized groups and other groups made vulnerable by laws and policies and supporting their attainment of these rights using a multipronged approach and diverse strategies.

Our mission is to provide our constituents: women, girls and minority group’s practical tools for self-development, voice and actions through research, advocacy and movement building. We strongly believe that rights are interrelated, inalienable and inseparable and therefore cannot be achieved in isolation. Our Thematic Areas

Gender Justice (Central and the Core of VSI Programming)
Gender justice is fundamental to VSI’s mission, focusing on promoting equality and addressing systemic discrimination. This area advocates for equal rights and opportunities, challenging harmful stereotypes and promoting gender-sensitive laws to empower individuals.
Education and Research
Education and research are vital for informed decision-making and policy development. This area involves conducting research on gender issues and education disparities, providing educational opportunities to empower individuals, particularly girls and young women, to reach their full potential.
Participatory Leadership/Political Education for Girls
This area equips girls with leadership skills and political education, encouraging active participation in decision-making and political processes. It aims to empower girls to advocate for their rights and influence policies that affect their lives.
Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights for Girls
Focusing on SRHR ensures girls have access to comprehensive healthcare services and information. This area advocates for policies protecting these rights, challenges stigmas, and promotes awareness about the importance of SRHR for overall well-being and gender equality.
Networks/Exchange Programs/Youth Outreach
Building networks and exchange programs create connections and foster collaboration among young people. This area establishes platforms for youth to engage, share knowledge, and work on initiatives promoting social change, ensuring their voices are heard and valued.
